You can't improve on perfection! The early Monsters were the most beautiful bike in the history of motorcycles. Like Padme said to Anikan: "You are breaking my heart! You are going down a path that I can't follow."

Beauty is in the eye of the. Beholder. Unfortunately there are a few things I didn’t like about the original. The lack of a belly pan for one which is why I added one to this when it was stock. But my idea is always to be able to return it to stock in an hour or 2

If you haven’t already you might want to check out a youtuber called hack a week. He did a Honda sabre project and like you he built his own tank. One of the ways he shaped the foam was with a wire with an electrical current going through it. Cut the foam really well and was accurate

When you're shaping things like this would it help you to get a more symmetrical shape faster if you pieced together your foam with axis marks? Just like a surfboard shaper has the stringer to work off. That would allow you to set up lasers or use calipers. Edit: fyi really enjoying this.. I still have my 2012 duck monster 659 learner. I really want to turn it into a custom (even though it is an amazing bike to look at already.).. As a metal fabricator/self taught detailer and lover of bikes this is the pinicle of spending my free time.

Whats the point of monster cafe racer considering that monsters already have the "cafe" look.
@forthebold
@forthebold 4 жыл бұрын
It's not really about giving it a cafe look, you could argue what's the point of modifying a Norton that already has a 'cafe' look. It's about customisation and modification as an expression of creating something you like.
