*“If you don’t have self worth, you’re not going to see yourself as worthy enough to make a change”* YES- this is exactly what I realized two days ago. I realized I have such a DEEP hate for myself that makes me not want to actually change my bad habits. I realized I watch other people on KZbin because I love their lives more than mine. So I basically hate myself so much to the point that I’d rather just spend my time watching someone else spend their time. 😐 It’s pretty crippling to have this much hate for myself. Sometimes I almost don’t go to social gatherings, other times I just don’t because I don’t want other people to look at me. I miss the old me so much. I was energetic, pretty, fun, skinnier, and looked cute in clothes cause I was- y’know- skinner. Now my thighs are big and my arms are kind of weird looking to me. Im not even that overweight, it’s basically skinny fat. (I’m 5’3 and weigh around 118 pounds.) I’m just sick of being this version of myself. Bringing back the old me seems almost impossible though. Braces changed my face structure for the worse, but I know I can change it sort of back- but it won’t be the same and it will take months. (Inter oral facial pulling.) I’m kind of ranting at this point. Sorry, this is just me thinking out loud practically.

I think you should try pushing yourself to exercise. You don’t have to put a lot of pressure on yourself to do anything crazy, even if it’s just dedicating 20 or 40mins every day to doing something. It will help you get used to doing something positive for yourself, but also your body will get better too and you’ll have a bit more confidence. Ultimately, try to build your self worth through things that are not looks based first. With your looks, your mind can easily play tricks on you. You can start to feel ugly, or tell yourself something wrong with your body because those things are things you can question, they are a matter of opinion. But when you build your self worth through things like your achievements or the good things you’ve done for people, those are indisputable facts and your mind cannot change facts

@@Jaderoselima thank you, I was just about to start a new workout plan and checked my notifications 😭. I used to be active so I think you’re right, it should really help build confidence and mental health. I’m so tired all day everyday even though I eat well. I’m going to push through and workout though! I’ll update you in a month how is going just because. I’m really trying to turn my life around🤍

I discovered your channel from the how I lost 32 pounds video and i've pretty much watched every video from then 😩 you are so inspiring and genuine.. type 2 diabetes runs in my family as well and that reason struck me hard. my aunt lost her eyesight and kidneys in the last stages of her life. Thank you so much for posting!! needless to say i've subscribed lol

I know exactly how you feel. I’m so sorry about your aunt 💔 I feel like the effects of diabetes aren’t spoken about enough, it kills people. My grandmother died a few weeks ago at 65 years old, her diabetes gave her chronic kidney failure, she had gangrene in her feet and severe nerve damage, it was horrible for her.
