I can only imagine how hard it must be for the Idaho victims family NOT to talk about it in the media. Most of them probably wants to shout out everything the know from the rooftop
@Emily-qr3tz Жыл бұрын
I’m actually fairly local to this case and strangely enough a lot of people aren’t really talking about it so I think a fair jury is certainly possible especially if they’re willing to move counties to find a jury. My cousin lives in southeast Idaho and hadn’t even heard of the case until about a week ago (she is particularly clueless, even for Idaho) so more likely they’ll find a jury that’s heard of the case, but hasn’t followed it and knows next to nothing) Note: the clueless for Idaho statement was not an attack on Idahoans as I am one, just a note that many people here really don’t pay attention to things like this at all

Other than the house being taken down but I think people won’t really be talking about it much.

I remember watching this in the beginning and the parents of one victim out there saying we want to know they aren't telling us, that morphed into public screaming of the police aren't doing anything when obviously a lot of hard, boring, tedious investigation was going on behind the scenes. While I understand people wanting results life isn't an episode of CSI. Cases aren't sorted in an hour. We need to be patient and allow the professionals to do what they know best to do. This I, I, I mentality invades everything especially on Social Media.

In Murdaugh there wasn't a non-dissemination order issued, they often aren't. This order extending to the attorney's for the witnesses and victim families is what I suspect prompted the the writ. While they may hear bits and pieces, it's not everyone who takes a deep dive into a case and in many cases they are gleaning their knowledge from online sources. All this to say, it's possible for a potential juror to remain impartial while having small bits of information. Courts must remain accessible to the public and with so many options, it seems it would be easy for courts to provide even greater access.

This is before they received the car, which has MM, EC, XK, KG blood DNA in the cushions, on brake pedal, stick shift, headrest. This guy sat in this car literally drenched - No amount of cleaning products can erase the evidence that seeps through the cushions, all the nooks and crannies. All it takes is one little drop, and he was covered in it 😐 He probably discarded his clothes in that field he passed, on that out-of- the way journey back to his apt. Coming from Australia where we don't televise trials at all, I can fully understand why things should be kept under seal and away from the media, at least until the trial has commenced or is over. I know that if I was involved in such a high profile case, I wouldn't want my fate to be hindered by the talking heads of media. The media has a reputation for skewering the facts. The media talk about inconsequential things that can taint a future jurors perspective. We saw it with the Murdaugh trial. There was a lot of rumour and speculation about information that simply wasn't true.
@reginadobson3182 Жыл бұрын

Agreed. The frustrating thing is that the speculation has largely gotten more wild since they have limited information so much. The public will do what they do regardless though.

She’s covered it a little bit, but that one’s really hard because of the violence against children. Those can be really triggering to memories of cases she dealt with as a DA.

I have combat cPTSD. I don't want Emily to cover that. We can see that case elsewhere - I don't think it would be very good for her mental health, with her long history of having to prosecute such terrible cases. Gotta look out for our Queen - BUT, if she covers it, I'll be here to support.

I'd also like to have this one done. I'd also like her take on the Ohio 8 murders of the rhoden family. The only defendant remaining is Billy Wagner as his wife and youngest son have already plead guilty and his older son has already been found guilty. The prosecutor has been terrible in my opinion so I'd love Emily's take on that case.

Emily has said that the Daybell case is triggering for her. What she does cover is all that she will cover. I don’t blame her for not wanting to cover it thoroughly.

Interesting that he had a shovel in his car. Could it have been used to bury evidence such as his clothes, shoes & knife? So many things to think about…it’s even possible that there were traces of blood on the shovel. Hopefully June will bring us some answers to so many questions we have but most importantly it brings out the evidence they need to without a doubt convict him of these murders!

I have a small shovel in my trunk. If you live in an area with snow, and your car is in a parking lot, you can get plowed in. This happened to me at a commuter parking lot (take train to work), and we got a heavy snowstorm. The car is sitting there for a good 10 hours. The defendant lived in an apartment complex, so not unusual.

Hey! I just stumbled upon your video I am so happy I found you 😢. I’m totally going to be binging your videos after this I know I’m new here, but can I make a recommendation ? on documents like this when I was wondering would you be able to put like an arrow at the specific items that you are talking about? I swear I’m not dumb but because of the handwriting, I was low-key, struggling to keep up with where you were.😂 My ADHD brain was struggling a little bit😂 Anyways, if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to bend your videos. I’m so happy that I found you.❤

I'd love rehash/update on Jesse Smullet fiasco in Chicago now that the two "attackers" now releasing their story!!
Would love for you to cover "Will You Help Me Repair My Door" and "Lemon Pound Cake" by Afroman. Talking about "should" leave other things alone reminded me of his recent raid

zachariah anderson murder trial! Please cover this. I was watching the trial this afternoon and saw a witness vreak down on the stand. The judge personally asked a lawyer to help represent her because she blurted out she was threatened with the gun and then all hell broke loose.

Did perp leave the knife sheath at the crime scene to point to a Marine Corps suspect (not knowing a bit of DNA was on it)?
@Leanimal Жыл бұрын
Anyone can buy that knife at a gun/knife store or stand that sells Ka-bars. It’s like a generic, licensed souvenir at military base malls. I’ve seen young people buy them just because they look cool.

I thought it was interesting they were so forthcoming at first. When releasing the PCA I expected it to be heavily redacted. It wasn’t, and now everything is heavily redacted if released at all. One extreme to the other.

That was very sad. I’m sure he was thinking about his own son when he was addressing Alex at sentencing. “I’m sure Paul and Maggie visit you everyday…
