We need an Order 66 TV show where each episode is a one shot of a different Jedi experiencing order 66. There were thousands of Jedi across the galaxy, so you would never know when an episode would end with a Jedi dying or getting away. They found make countless one off episodes that could be darker and grittier than traditional Star Wars.

I think the reason why the clone wars wasn’t shown in the recap is cause the important clone wars scenes will be reshot with Hayden and Ewan. Probably in the form of another dream, especially since seeing movie scenes in nightmares are already established, live action recreations of clone wars would also make a lot of sense and a big reason why Hayden is back when anyone can just be Vader in the suit.

Plus a good portion of the general audiences tuning in to this new show, probably haven't seen the Clone Wars, nor would they have any connection to them. So seeing reenactment spliced in there with footage from the actual movies that they remember might be jarring. That being said, I too was kinda like, to bad we didn't see any Clone Wars-era footage of Obi-Wan & Anakin interacting, as their dynamic as good friends was really showcased there, as opposed to the movies.

Normally inquisitor are submissive to their higher ups and etc but she's always on edge, angry in a generic way. She's would've been better if she was this mad dog that the grand inquisitor released to do his dirty work. And the fact she just stabbed the grand inquisitor, they could've fought at least, and the grand inquisitor would've easily wiped the floor with her. They created a plot hole that if they know now that obi wan came out to save organas daughter- that bail organa would know where he is- wouldn't vader just pull up and mind probe him And surely she's getting executed for treason.

I get the sense that Reva was a kid jedi that survived (probably even in that first scene but l haven't checked) Order 66 and has been misled to believe Obi Wan was the one behind it after betraying Anakin. Thus why this is so personal to her and why she'd know who Vader is and the connection between them. The audition she did to get her this job is probably a scene that hasn't happened yet.

This was not good. The two chase scenes, were terribly slow. Why are these grown adults, with grown adult legs, chasing after a child at her speed, instead of their own speed, so they can catch her? McGregor was fine, Leia actress was good. But there's holes all over this. Jeremy Jahns breaks it down pretty good, and points them out. Reva shouldn't know that Vader is Anakin. Info on Jedi was destroyed, and she should not be able too look up that Obi wan was friends with anyone.

l get the sense that... and l even almost feel bad now because I've said this a few times to realize that I'm totally right here and so this is practically a spoiler but... if you care for theory that's almost certainly a spoiler there's no turning back now. Reva is almost certainly one of the kid jedi from the opening scene taking place during Order 66. l haven't gone back and looked, but l have no doubt she's one of them and l honestly don't even reccomend you go back and watch it because there's just no way she's not. Otherwise why even show that scene if one of those kids isn't important. 'Cause think about it. If that's true, then she would've known Anakin and Obi personally, known their connection first hand, and when Anakin found her, he would've lied that Obi Wan was the one who tried to take over the senate, left him for dead, and was somehow responsible for the massacre. That's why she's so passionate about being the one who finds him. That's why she's looked at as being from the gutter by the Inquisitors who hunt jedi. And they even had Obi Wan off handedly mention that some of them are jedi hunting their own kind. This is just too much math that checks out to not be what's happening.

@@realrobrose my theory is that Disney is going to retcon the Anakin killing children scene those kids are going to be the same children from episode 3 and Anakin is going to be under orders from palpatine to kidnap younglings for training, reva being one of them she is going to be trained as an inquisitor and forced to kill her fellow Jedi younglings in a final trial sort of thing, and is going to blame obi wan because he trained and failed to kill Anakin at Mustafar who she deems responsible for all the bad things that have happened to her

I like to think at the end Obi-Wan is using the force to search for Anakin saying his name and Vader heard him. Vader and Luke have moments of communicating with the force numerous times.

So, on the discussion of "why was Luke a farm boy, and Leia a princess", I think this show shows that that wasn't the plan. Leia was gonna be a princess, but Obi Wan had every intention of training Luke from childhood. He was supposed to be a Jedi, not a lowly farmer, life, and Owen, just got in the way. Besides, it'd be weirder if Luke Organa went missing to train as opposed to a random nobody

I found it a little odd how good the Inquisitors were at using the force. They're not really supposed to be super strong with the force. That was the whole idea. Sidious didn't want powerful threats to his rule aside from Vader who he thought he could control. He wanted the Inquisitors to be strong enough to sense and hunt jedi, but that's about it. So to see the Grand Inquisitor stop a lightsaber mid swing with the force was a bit I feel... excessive for what he should be capable of. Same thing with Reva being able to pull the information from Kumail's character. I feel like that's a bit high level and could potentially be used to undermine the emperor, which goes against the whole concept of their order. I mean I get it, they just wanna do cool stuff, but I couldn't help but raise an eyebrow when that happened. The show is EXCELLENT so far though. Like 1000x better than Book of Boba Fett already. I hope Andor has this same level of quality. I was starting to worry that these shows were going downhill when I just hated Boba Fett from start to finish, (aside from the Mando/Luke/Ahsoka sutff) but I'm glad to see them back on form with this series.

@@travishobbs8533 I'm betting the 'weakened' state of Obi-Wan in terms of the force is supposed to put him on more equal footing with inquisitors to make things not so one-sided. The lightsaber stop though reminded me of the moment in Force Awakens where Kylo Ren stops the blaster shot in mid air with the force. It was just of a flashy thing to do and you can't help but feel like it would require an immense amount of power to stop something with such concussive force and velocity. If force sensitives are able to stop saber slashes and blaster fire with the force alone, I feel like they would make use of that more often. But instead we've seen years of them deflecting blaster fire with their lightsabers, and when they fail to do that, they fall. If they could stop themselves from being cut in half when they lose a bout in a lightsaber duel as well, I feel like that would definitely be something that we would have seen already from powerful jedi who have been cut down in the past. So maybe it's a power level thing. Okay then. So why didn't Anakin Skywalker, one of the most powerful force users in the Star Wars universe, stop Obi-Wan from cutting him down on Mustafar with the force? It's just a little odd. I don't want Star Wars to turn into Dragonball Z where all of a sudden we have a peanut gallery saying "They're deflecting blows so fast I can't even track it with my eyes!"

Genuinely surprised I liked these first two episodes as much as I did, I'm not the biggest Star Wars fan outside of the KotOR games. Kid Leia has been giving me Lady Mormont vibes and I love it. Also thought the chase scenes she's been in have been so funny to me, with her tiniest steps and full grown adults unable to catch her immediately. As for Reva, I still need to warm up to her, she seems like she could be awesome by the end of this story but as of right now, I'm not feeling the characterization & direction of her too much. And as goofy as the Grand Inquisitor looked, I loved every moment he was on screen, bummer that he's already out of the picture maybe. Great start so far.

One of the moments that has always bugged me about A New Hope is the first words Luke ever said to Leia: "I'm Luke Skywalker, I'm here to rescue you, I'm here with Ben Kenobi!" and Leia's response is "BEN KENOBI!?!?! WHERE IS HE?!?!?!" Not "Who the hell is Ben Kenobi????" It's like, how the hell does Leia know anything about Ben Kenobi? Now we know. FUCK. So good.

I thought these were great intros to the series, but had two gripes with it. Leia did not feel like a 10 year old girl. The actress seemed to be six in these two episodes, regardless of how old she actually is IRL. The other is that not many people would have known that Vader = Anakin, especially not some lowborn, low-ranking inquisitor sister.

She's too passionate about finding Obi for her to just be someone following orders or after power. Its personal to her. Her age seems to imply to me that she was a jedi child (probably in that first scene even, but l haven't checked) who escaped Order 66 and has been told Obi Wan was the one who tried to take over the Senate, kill Anakin and caused the massacre. If she was a jedi child she would've known them both personally.

Im with tim that I don't like revas charcater, as of now. She seems like just the angry generic character, plus I don't like the things they do with her. It would've been better if she was this crazy inquisitor that the grand inquisitor unleashes to do his dirty work Also wouldn't reva be executed for treason- for stabbing the grand inquisitor

I remember when KF were doing the sequels in review and I can't remember who, but one of the gang said that it makes no sense that Leia would call her son Ben. Dave Feloni, or perhaps Deborah Chow, just gave us the reason. Ben was the first Jedi Leia met who saved her as a child.

I personally felt myself getting emotional when I realized what the setup for this show was. Like as soon as it hit me that it would be about him saving Leia, i began thinking about how much that adds to their actions in a New Hope. It means even more that Leia was reaching out to him specifically.

Just finished first 2 eps and I'm enjoying the show but Reva to me feels like she should be like a homelander but he acting or her lines feel to try hard to feel menacing. Plus her parkour just seemed unnecessary and that's why it took her so long to even catch up with obi 😅

Loved almost everything, but one gripe was Reva saying Anakin Skywalker is alive. Anakin is dead and only Vader lives now, so that took me out a bit, as there's no way he's running around calling himself Anakin.

I think Reva would have been far more interesting as a rogue dark Jedi, rather than an imperial officer. What she does at the end of the second episode is exactly why they wouldn't have allowed her to be so insubordinate before then.
