Since a period of enforced idleness due to medical adventures six years ago I had been losing my range of motion and suffered from increasing pain; the hospital's physical therapists were of little help, and of some harm. Less than two weeks ago I started following Ms Yip's Qigong exercises as shown here and in her other two KZbin videos; the results have been close to miraculous. Not only did I regain the freedom of movement lost after my surgeries, it has already almost cured the bilateral carpal tunnel syndrome that has plagued me for almost thirty years. I am neither stiff nor sore when I wake in the morning; I can EASILY put on my socks and trousers. I am now almost completely pain-free--I haven't felt this good in forty years. Now I can (slowly) set to work strengthening muscles that have weakened because of the pain of using them. I started with five repetitions of most of the exercises, and by the 8th day had worked up to ten each.

"Tao Te Ching" Act without doing, Work without effort. Think of the small as large And the few as many. Confront the difficult While it is still easy. Accomplish the great task By a series of small acts.
