This was fun to watch! Its hard to focus your train of thought while being touched ;) My views on relationships have evolved over the years. At some point I gave up trying to put so much emphasis on monogamy, as men are men, and men are pigs...LOL It's likely going to happen when a situation happens unexpectedly. The main point is that you (as a couple) come together and decide how you want your relationship to be-it's no one else's business. Being anxious all the time about monogamy IS a waste of time. Truly. You'll enjoy your time as a couple much better when you stop fixating on things you can't control.

Agreed. Views definitely tend to evolve with time and experience. It's all about trust and communication and confidence in both yourself and your partner. And it's not even specific to gay couples, though more common. There are hetro couples out there as well that can have some form of an open relationship, it's just talked about much due to social stigma. Quite often among gay guys that are insistent about monogamy are the young ones that haven't experienced real life for long and have to realize how views will evolve. But it's also true non monogamy isn't for everyone.

Wow the more I spend time in this space the more I realize how monogamy may no longer really fit me as a person anymore. I’m still working on finding one person to be with anyways let alone multiple but as a bisexual this relationship style feels more doable in the long run. Thank you for these videos! It's definitely possible if you develop trust and communication with each other and very clear on that you are primary partners and always honest and upfront on outside activity. Well defined rules and boundaries is also key.

I think nowadays, my immune system doesn't support multiple partner sex. I don't want to shell out money for HIV drugs to be healthy in multi-sex when I don't have HIV, or any other STD. I like the taste, smell, germs and physical closeness without the concern by knowing someone over a period of time after testing.

I do agree about the times when you made comments about shame. In a LOT of people don't really know what exactly shame is, I have learned that there are no other two related feelings than shame and guilt. they are different in a very specific way, and both have to do with self. Guilt is that feeling we have when we have done something wrong. This feeling is transitory (it eventually goes away on its own,) Shame on the other hand is the feeling you have when you are wrong or less than. God I'm writing a dissertation here. Put simply guilt as about what you've "done", shame is about what you "are". Sorry folks, deep topics require deep answers. Keep in mind these things have been lessons learned over 66 years of living and working alongside other humans.
