I am really quite impressed by the variety of cuisines that you include in your Shabbat meals. Caribbean, Polish, Moroccan, and a dash of Thai and Japanese inspiration. I am not Jewish, but am fascinated by the food ... which is why I watch your videos. You seem like a lovely lady who adores her family.

I have enjoyed watching your videos and finding out how all of these delicious foods were prepared . Many of them were made by the grandmothers of my friends so you can imagine how wonderful they were!! I have watched many of the videos and am already dreading for them to end.

Your littlest boy absolutely cracks me up! There's usually a little hand reaching/sneaking up for whatever snack is closest to the edge. He seems to love cucumber! I have to say you are so patient, organized and so talented. I know you probably have days you want to fall into bed with the remote and a pizza! Believe me....when you're my age in the lull between college kids and multiple grandkids, you'll wonder what to do with yourself! I still cook waaaay too much food during the week!

NOT including large weekly Shabbat dinners and KZbin! I'm an RN too, in the Pediatric ICU, although because of leukemia I am not working currently. You're doing great Sonya - motivating and informative. I've obviously been braiding Challah for years, but your videos made me make a sourdough starter! May I just say, that I think you are beautiful, talented, brilliant, and a lesson in organization. You make everything seem as though it's part of a normal progression and not a chore, to be gotten through. I am in awe. Bless you, in your continued attitude of ease and efficiency, and I learned a lot, just watching you go about what for you, is a normal routine. Just a small hint: the word is pronounced "con-so-may" (not "con-some") It's a French word for I believe, a clear broth.
