Had my 15,000km 2008 CBA from Japan for a couple of months now. I absolutely love how analogue and mechanical the car is. Going to keep it stock and pretty (for now). Love these videos, as it's good to see someone with proven expertise provide an educated response. Feel like a lot of people crapping on CBA's actually don't own a GTR and are regurgitating information they've heard from others. Cheers Chris!

I own an 09, i installed the tsb clips and dodson filter. Flash the gearbox with ecutek. It now has 100k miles and it has absolutely no issues and i drive it like i stole it. Just buy it

thanks for this lol. although the audio is too low. 2009 is still faster than most newer model cars out on the roads today! GTR IS KING :D

I got 09 - I'm second owner" got the car fully stock! I started with all the maintenance_ new rotors, brakes, AMS Stage2 trans. - trans is very smooth, no marble sound, its quiet and shifts hard! I did fluids, spark plugs, cabin filter, you name it... and to tell you guys the truth, I won't even run E85! car is plenty fast for me and I enjoy driving it! i got set of R Rohana wheels and thinking to do slight drop with lowering springs but still debating .. I paid 41k for my car and its in amazing condition- some 2014 has so many interior scratches and seats are nasty! I know a guy who bought 2017 and he has plenty of issues! and he got his brand new!

@@st2397 You more than likely need the actual tuner. I doubt those companies would let you use their tune with their physical hardware.

If you have their part # NIS-006 or NIS-008, they include transmission flashing free of charge. The maps are included on the handheld. If you don't, you can upgrade to transmission flashing for $400.
