I am very close to how you were but a lil smaller but I am so sick people making comments to me like I'm huge or like you said having shorts that used to be so cute on me and now I can't even find a pair to fit me. I used to love shopping now I don't even want to go to the store and if I do I pick the biggest size don't even try it on and deal with it. @@FatForWeightLoss update-- I just baked up a loaf of this keto-bread, and it turned out great! Super-moist and satisfyingly dense. I actually used cream of tartar mixed with some chia seeds instead because I did not see xanthan gum at the store, and it came out much like the chia seed loaf you made, a kind of 'cornbread', but with more flavor. Good recipe, clear instructions. Thanks.

You can also mix some of the flours in different proportions to get better results. I generally use 1/2 of almond, 1/3 of flaxseed and 1/6 of coconut flour. Also you can use yeast for more bready flavor.

How ur bread tasted with these ingredients ? Eggy or normal bread like
@KatarinaS. Жыл бұрын
How exactly do you use the yeast in these keto breads since it doesn't really do anything but add that yeasty flavor that we're all used to in bread? I have yeast I can use and I always loved my mom's home baked bread growing up, but I don't know how you'd use it when it isn't needed for leavening, since I assume it's there just for the flavor and doesn't actually leaven the bread.

Another home run, Aaron! These videos are really helpful. When I started Keto in January 2018, it was a whole new culture of ingredients I had never worked with and I do cook and bake. Initially, I would spend a lot of time researching the best "looking bread and other ingredients" that were easy to obtain. Then I would try different recipes one at a time, when I could find time. I love your approach - 6 different recipes at a time. This video is very well put together by comparing the different ingredients and the outcome. It is helpful to me to prepare my favorite dishes and it saves me time. Great idea, explanation and demonstration. I did see your good video on the "Best Sugar Substitute for Low Carb or Ketogenic Diets", however, a baking and/or cooking comparison video would be great. Please, please do a video on the different sugar alternatives Monk fruit, Stevia, Xylitol, Erythritol, including rating the taste. I know that those listed are the most common alternatives but, what are you thoughts on Allulose and Isomalt? Any syrup recipe comparisons in the making?

I love your videos & recipes, been struggling w/weight issues almost all my life (60 years), have always despised any sort of physical activity-leading to excess weight-I’ve tried every eating plan out there, including Keto, I get bored & discouraged, so I stop. But out of all the different ways to eat, Keto was easiest to follow & made the most sense, I started again this week, haven’t had a problem, haven’t even been hungry-amazing! I’m a carb/sugar junkie & love to bake, it’s therapeutic for me-and unhealthy. I can live without doing it, though. These breads look so good, would probably satisfy my carb cravings. Sadly, I live in a small, cramped apartment & using my oven in the summertime (like now) turns my tiny space into the Sahara. I live in the American south & it gets pretty hot & humid. Can’t bake my bacon like I usually do. Talk about limited options. I live on salads (green, tuna, chicken, egg), smoothies, and easy dishes I don’t have to bake, or even fry because I don’t have a range hood above my stove and can’t open the windows. Just have to do the best I can. I’m also on a fixed income, but fortunately I live alone & shop only for myself. Anyway, I’m going to try what recipes I can & keep up the good work!

Thank you so much for doing the trial and error for us. I have recently come across Keto King's version of Dierdre's version of a keto bread. It absolutely *blows* these breads out of the water. Whilst your ingredients are readily available from virtually *_any_* health food store, the one I tried from Keto King required two ingredients to be ordered online (I am from Melbourne/Australia). And even though I had to order them online, there was a waiting period for them to restock on one of the ingredients. Forgot which one. Moral of the story, your ingredients tried in this video are readily available. However, I wholeheartedly advise you to give it a go. Turns out like real bread... or near enough to it. The hard to find ingredients were: - Oat Fibre, and - Vital Wheat Gluten

Hello Aaron, I enjoy watching your videos and feel that you are one of the best creators and chefs with KETO foods. I watched this bread making video and greatly appreciated the different methods/components you used to test which is best. I was very interested in the almond flour bread with xanathan gum as the binder PLUS I really liked the idea of using egg whites ONLY instead of the whole egg thereby mitigating the strong egg taste. Unfortunately I cannot locate that recipe and am hoping you can direct me to it. Thank you in advance and keep up the good work. Cheers.

I want to make the bread recipe you have with the more egg whites but I am only finding the recipe the regular way. Can you tell me how you measured the eggs for that recipe? I also noticed you used almond meal for the one with more egg whites and almond flour for the regular one so is there a difference between the meal and flour?
@Selena3williams6 жыл бұрын
Gail Leone I was bummed there was not a final recipe as well. I am new to Keto so I am trying to learn as much as I can as I progress. I think the meal vs flour answer is one is just more fine that the other. I’ve seen several other recipes that have referenced them as two separate “grinds”.
@devoted2lostcauses5 жыл бұрын
@@Selena3williams Almond meal is just ground up, whole almonds. Almond FLOUR is made with almonds that have been blanched (super light, quick boiling) to remove the brown outer skin, THEN ground. The resulting flour is much finer and pure white, better for cakes and pastries. Whereas Almond meal gives more of an earthy/grainy texture. It is like the difference between white vs. whole wheat bread in flavor and texture.
