He comes off as a bit simple, but if you watch his story about how he got on the show, you can kind of see why. He had to do 5 "skits" only one of which made it to the show, so I'm guessing that he was just trying to keep his lines straight and not say anything that would get him fired from his job. I posted some snarky comment earlier that I thought was funny but in retrospect was not. I think that this man just might be that rare gentle individual that you don't often see anymore in this more connected and more jaded world. We've all been humbled at one point or another. It's important to keep a sense of humor about it or you'll drive yourself crazy, and keep yourself busy, which he seems to be doing pretty well. I wish this gentleman all the luck in the world...And hopefully, he doesn't do anything that will make me take that back...because you never know.

So, this is something ive been doing for years. Take your hot dog, and cut a split down the length. Stuff that cut full of taco cheese. Wrap a tortilla around it (nuke it for like 10 seconds to make it easier to wrap) and put a few toothpicks through it to hold the wrap in place. Pan fry that fella till the tortilla gets nice and crispy, and serve with salsa and sour cream. Turns a bland hotdog into a less bland hot dog. ; )

I hear and feel you 100%, but we know, know, *know* - for a fact - that Tosh is super sweet (can't believe i just used that phrase for another dude, let's quickly move along), and would never ever intend that kind of feeling/effect on a genuine and special guy like this, he truly tries his very best in fact to make them laugh and have a good time and be glad they were had... That's real!! Wouldn't ever change that, I'm sure... So i imagine they might've even been on the fence about this one, then edited it to see what they could make of it/him, and ultimately went with it... But this one definitely stands apart in the crowd of web redemptions for the reasons you stated, and i have more than a hunch that Daniel's completely been through his own trip of uncertainty on this episode - !!!
