www.buymeacoffee.com/Barlates Welcome to the Mat Workout Series. These workouts will work your entire body using functional combination moves as well as targeted muscle group focused exercises. Some of the workouts are pure body weight and others use equipment such as ankles weights and a resistance loop to intensify the moves. Although these workouts are on the mat, they will thoroughly work your muscles and even get your heart rate up at times.
In Mat Workout Compound Moves you will work your entire body with unique Pilates style combination moves. The exercises are all functional moves that incorporate a dynamic stretch element and use multiple muscle groups at once. You will see plank steps throughs and knee pulls, down dog leg raises to handstand variations, side kneeling leg extensions with mini push-ups, 1 leg push-ups, table top glute circles and a crouching lunge series. There are long lever moves as well as pulses to fully fatigue each muscle group before moving on.

Every time I go through your library I find a workout I've never done. Wow! My brain and body were so confused and on fire when I could finally follow the combo. A pool of sweat for sure. You're so creative.

Great mat workout! Some combinations are very challenging but it very good for coordination and balance! Good for very cold days! 🤩😉👍🥶

This was a VERY challenging workout. But fun too. Very intense cardio, and the burn in my thighs and quads was crazy! Now, a few hours later, I’m also feeling my hamstrings. The final move, with the bicep curls etc., was such an interesting full-body move - I’d never done anything like it! Thank u!

Wow my heavens ankle weights and u have a insane, exciting workout! U r the best instructor, I don't know how u talk the entire time- I love listening to u, it helps me to focus and do exercises correctly. So important!

Yes, when you use a lot of muscles at the same time you can get a great cardio effect even without cardio 😊

Your workouts are incredible! I don't know how anyone can give this a thumbs down! Too much torture? You preview the workout and you think "oh this is nothing" next thing you know you are breathing heavy, pouring sweat and begging for mercy! Thank you!

It is so awesome to have workouts like these that just thoroughly work everything in a short amount of time. It amazes me how many planks and handstands you fit into this : ) It was fantastic- thank you! I am super excited for the last one in this series : )

Planks and handstands are total body moves so I really love using them. The last one in the series uses a loop, it's a tough one 😀

Holy moley, dare I say this is an advanced workout? Granted I wore 1 lb ankle weights but my gawd! lol I was pouring with sweat by the end. It got everything, core, arms legs...wowza!

I have done this workout several times now, and have seen big improvements in my stamina - I can now hold all the moves for the full set. It is still very challenging though - probably one of the hardest mat workouts I have done. But, no pain no gain! You keep me returning - you are an extraordinary trainer. Thank you so much :-)

Wow, that was tough! Maybe it doesn't burn out muscles as much as targeted workouts, as you said, but it's definitely not getting easier))) I feel tired (and sweaty) but also stronger and more resilient for completing this one and almost keeping up with you! I agree when you say all workouts add on and we need different types of workouts to improve our bodies in all different ways, from all possible angles so to say) I guess, functional or fusion workouts like this help me work my core best way possible, and improve my overall strength, resilience, and coordination while still giving this sweet burn (with all those lunges, leg raises and curtsies). I did add weights to more targeted sets but left them out during more dynamic sets and planks, bodyweight was juuuust fine :-) To sum it up, it was tough but I loved it:-)

I just finished this workout, I liked it, it was difficult, especially my arms and shoulders hurt, this is my problem area. Linda tell me please, would you like to shoot a video on the upper body so that your feet are on the wall, also like a stand on your head, only with the help of a wall?Something like that . Advanced training ... I hope I understood clearly, my English could have been better ... Thank you! Your latest video is just super!!!
