Welcome to your Intermediate Vinyasa-Yin fusion Class, it's the perfect combination of flow and release to leave you feeling less tense and relaxed.
Yin yoga targets your deep connective tissues, like your fascia, ligaments, and joints. It’s slow paced, and meditative, giving you space to turn inward and tune into both your mind and the physical sensations of your body. During Yin yoga you’re holding stretch poses for a long period of time. It helps you stretch and lengthen those rarely-used tissues while also teaching you how to breathe through discomfort (not pain) and sit with your thoughts.
Vinyasa yoga is a Yang style of yoga, it's faster paced merging breath with movement. During the vinyasa parts of the flow we will practice powerful inversions like crow and heastand.
Merging these two styles of yoga together gives the body and mind the perfect completely balanced practice. Perfect for strength, flexibility and meditation. Flow and release 👌

What a lovely way to start my day! Thank you. I don't consider myself a beginner anymore, but sometimes the intermediate practices are a bit much. I was able to do most all of this with little modifications due to some arthritis in my hands. I did not do the handstand but was able to get one foot at a time off the floor in crow. I have been working on that for years now. The pace and minimal cues are wonderful. Thank you so much.

Candi I got high ... The new music (sounds like early morning in the summer in the countryside, without roosters, cows ans sheeps) is great ; I completely let go in utthan pristhasana ; of course I didn't do bakasana (never have been able to, and never will be) but tried parsva bakasana with only ONE elbow supporting me...and it worked ! Both sides ! Wooowooo ! Can't do lotus so I was sitting in kinda diamond pose, with forearms under my shins, plams facing up, I love this variation. Do you ? Anyway, I feel great now, thank you Candi 🙏
