New to these videos. Is the "how to beat"-rules and terms only apply in-universe? With the how the sun stands and so forth, because the film was actually filmed in Romania

Hunting them makes the most sense. There's a ton of canned goods all over the country. Plenty of food and supplies. Perfect a weapon system, trek, meet and teach other survivors, grow your army numbers, cleanse the continent. It would actually be a lot of fun.

Sadly, if everyone just did their taxes that day, the would probably either move the tax window, or they would move the purge

12:35 This is a bit misleading because it's the average at any one moment. The actual total number of insane people would be several times larger.

They should have made it that only person under the curse can interact with it, and only directly(i.e. sword will work, but bullets won't). Otherwise it's too easy(ironically wouldn't happen to me, at least till now)

i think the aspect of luck works in this film because it’s not that she just gets lucky and escapes cold blooded veteran murderers. she gets lucky in that the family don’t know what the fuck they’re doing. like yeah she’s lucky, but it’s also because the family are pretty bad at hunting people

Saying Bird Box is a worse version of A Quiet Place is just bad film critique. Bird Box is clearly a cosmic horror while A Quiet Place is more conventional in its plot. It’s like saying The Shadow over Innsmouth is a worse version of World War Z because they both have people that turned into monsters

Double dose, healing and vision dose. How much gift is imparted with each. Is the gift equivalent to medicines? I doubt that. It’s supernatural and unmeasurable. The parting thought is “Oh dear god, how much longer”. That’s what the author leaves us with… Something unknowable, something answerable. Something both divine and heartbreaking at the same time. Long life means so many partings.

I have a theory that actually the family and grace can survive the night if the family decided to not harm her, or just play the game without actually aim to harm her, because at the end when the sun rises the family members burst one by one while grace staring at them, and the way i interpreted that scene is because of grace’s resentmen and anger towards them that make the family dies. It’s been a long time since i saw the full movie so maybe i miss some points but i remember clearly this is the theory that came up to me after i saw the movie.

Okay so I haven't seen the movie, but judging from this review, I really dislike what seems to be the creators' understanding of (a particular sort of) crimes, criminals and the police. It sounds like they consider killing those s____lly drawn to children and perpetrators of SA (cumbersome wording, self-censorship and acronym used for the sake of circumventing the automatic deletion of my comment) to be a good thing. I get that it's difficult to keep your cool with such things (indeed, they make my blood boil). However, my problem(s) with that is that a) those are in most cases not the same thing (in fact, most perpetrators of SA are actually not s____lly drawn to children, but "normal" men (and sometimes women) looking for the easiest kind of victim, children) and more importantly b) the idea that killing such people is a good idea is terribly wrong, it's bad for society and likely *increases* the number of SA crimes. The idea "Let's kill them!" does not concern itself with the *prevention* of SA (that's what matters most, right?), it merely concerns itself with the emotional desires of those who hear of SA. The only people who legitimely can say "I want to kill them" are the victims of SA (and they usually don't say those things, btw. At least all those I spoken to didn't and disagreed with such ideas). Often "Let's kill them! is merely cheap narcicissm that borders on a lack of respect. Wanna do something about/against SA? Then maybe listen to what the actual victims have to say or do some research (the makers of this movie haven't done that, it seems). Such a bad understanding of SA and (s.) abuse then fits with this movie's understanding or shall I say reverence of the police who seem to be considered the antagonists of crime, rather than the sociopathic gangsters that they are in truth in general. Rather than actually preventing cases of SA or even just catching the perpetrators after the fact, in a vast majority of such cases, they either do nothing or worse, they're the perpretrators themselves! MORE THAN 40 PERCENT OF COPS ARE DOMESTIC ABUSERS. It's true, you can look it up. Would you trust somebody who is abusive to their spouse or children with cases of SA? Yeah, no. Thus it follows FBI agents dying en masse probably comes closest to the future prevention of occurence of SA. However something tells me the movies considers that a bad thing. Unlike the murder of non-police perpetrators of SA (at least one of them was a physician, a profession in which it's easily possible and indeed common to abuse people, due to the inherent power they have over people). The movie is as much copaganda as it is badly made as it is a bad take on SA. It all fits together.

I disagree because I do not believe that the aliens are a threat to anyone. At their arrival they would kill a lot of people. But humans are sadly so creative at killing stuff that it would not take them long to find an effective way of hunting the aliens. I think so because the weakness of the aliens is directly linked to their strength: Hearing. In my opinion their arrival would not end human life but would be a inconvenience just like a new disease for example.

Ruling out escape without considering the means of a sailboat? Considering that we’re talking a location about a hard stones throw away from the Pacific ocean, that seems a little uncreative no? Then again, I haven’t actually watched the movie..
