So the only people that could survive this world are toph from atla (blind, can see using her feet and most powerful earth bender), kenshi from mortal kombat (blind and can see with the help of his ancestors), dare devil (blind and sees using advanced echolocation) ,yang kai from martial peak (he negates any mental corruption techniques no matter how powerful or weird they are, probably the only one i can think of that would also be able to see the creatures)

Unsure if it's true, but writers said even traveling in space wouldn't keep you safe. That does radically change how we understand it, however it seems to spawn a few hundred yards away from its victim before deciding to walk. But then again I feel like it definitely chose to spend days walking within the movie (smart enough to avoid getting ran over I'm guessing), but then again how time passed in the movie isn't the most clear, but days would go by between encounters. It is also super smart and evil. It probably has the strength to bust down doors but still knocks for torment sake. It knows how doors work, it can climb up on roof of a house, knowing how to attack from windows, it knows what electricity and water is, how people may try trapping it, etc... escape routes its victims may take and what not. Really one of the more interesting monsters we've seen in horror films.

ok, so the easy defenceline would be: placing sounds along a track, then let them make noise in sequence, let em run! Look at em go! No need to shoot at them, they just keep running because they're dumb, then, they exhaust themselves, making it possible to submerge them into something like lava or something toxic. - strapping noiseboxes on them to make them attack eachother. - strapping noiseboxes at helium balloons/zeppelins to lead them to the nearest volcano. one thing that wouldn't work as they portrey it in the movie, is that they only detect sound. If these things work with ecolocation, they can just séé with sound, which means they're able to see the movement of breath as 'rythmically moving gass' so yeah, game over. They're not very fast swimmers, so boats are safe, and they're not teriffic flyers, so yeah, balloons and zeppelins are safe. But fishing villages should be able to survive on sailing ships without too much difficulty, as long as they stay out at sea. Cargoships that never reach port are safe havens.

The third movie shows that the creatures actually drown in the water and die. That been said, the solution is quite simple: draw the attention of the creatures with a noise maker device to a bridge over a deep body of water. Then, find a way to destroy the bridge and there you go.

All the highly equipped armies in the world are defeated by these monsters but a child is able to kill them with a shotgun? Oh Please! You know, I figured out why aliens do not visit us anymore. We f---'n killed them and then we ate them. We are possibly the best killers in the universe, our monkey brains are wired for it and millions of years of evolution have honed our skills and we are damn good at it. I would like to see a couple of those monsters land down in Ukraine. The Ukrainians and Russians would have a field day with the darn things. That would be a great movie, two bitter enemies become friends while fighting monsters to save the earth, Putin and Zelensky team up and kick monster butt. My personal solution would be to just become a vampire, just like te protagonist, to fight back as best as I can, and then I'd ask to be locked up exposed to the world so I can be studied and hopefully a vaccine or cure for vampirism can be found, or heck, maybe a way to cannel some of the physical benefits without te downsides.

It is funny how there's not enough food to feed everyone, given the fact that, everyone seemingly gets their favorite dish added to the platform, so in theory there should be 666 different servings in the platform, but because some dishes are more of a luxury than nutritious (like the snails), it's just not enough to sustain everyone.

Based on how the original Martin handed his name tag to the new Martin and how the new Martin just files away the original Martin tells me those creatures understand that not every alien child will survive to adulthood. threatening to kill the creature or even actually killing it wouldnt matter. there are others to take it's place.

Heres how i think you can survive this. 1. JUST DONT AGREE TO GO TO A RANDOM TOWN💀 and 2. If you DO go, then bring food from your home that YOU KNOW will not slowly kill you. And if you run out or just dont have food in your car that you can use to survive. Then you may go on a diet with only water. You can use the tap water and put a cloth through the water and into another glass to make sure that there are no things in there and do that multiple times and drink the water. According to the official healthline website, you can survive 2-3 months by doing this. And like it said, the kid is 8 in that scene. And then, the “kid” is now 30 in the other scene. This means that you have roughly 345 days of taking care of that thingy and that 2-3 months will only last you about %43 of that time. And thats where i would start taking advantage of my partner. I would kill them and eat a tiny peice of them. If you continue this then you will last all of the 345 days. Then, i would “die” and shove pillows in that plastic bag thingy. This would give protection when he drops u in the hole which is about 10 ish meters deep. And in the movie, that “person” goes inside to arrange everything and organize everything, i would take advantage of that time to get out of the bag and the pillows would act as my body. I would then climb under the car and hold on for dear life onto those gears under the car. Then since these guys can control when they can leave and when they cant, ( this is proven in the scene where the woman tries to follow the child to his lesson but the child would not let her go aka mixing up the town. And when she finally got back to their “home” thats when the child finally goes to his lessons) the person would open up the town so they can get out and when you can hear other people and you can tell that the car has stopped, roll out from underneath and you have officially beat Vivarium. (I know this is long so if u read all this then thank you☺️)

The moment they decided to not yeet the child they were fucked.

The movie does not say the future is deterministic as much as that the language gives her a future that will lead to them helping the aliens 3000 years later. She chooses to embrace said future even though knowing the heartbreak it bring as she possibly finds the unification it also brings worth more then her own pain. This movie is more of a self fulfilling prophecy then that the future is completely set. At multiple points it can go wrong, but having seen what it can bring she pushes through to make it into what she saw. The phone call is a circular time paradox yes. That is the only thing in this movie I see as impossible, but maybe at the start the aliens found a way to give the information to Louise and so she created a timeloop that becomes the greatest hurdle in the whole story.

It all depends on how quickly they reproduce and if they even care about the child and if they can use warping powers on the car bc it seems like their power is tied to the neighborhood so since the car is not from the neighborhood it can’t open the doors

So the monster's (Moder) motivation is to be worshipped by those with pain, who have a lot of emotional baggage. That's why it wants Luke as a follower but is willing to kill all his friends because they aren't suffering like he is. At the beginning of the film Luke sees his friend killed in front of him by robbers while Luke is hiding. That's his pain. The little girl in the picture they find looks sad and distant while her family looks happy and are all embracing each other. She has pain and that's probably why the monster selected her as a follower while it killed her family. Now this part is just speculation but I think this might be a metaphor for how cults in the real world often target vulnerable people, people who have emotional pain or baggage. Then the cult usually tries to separate that person from their loved ones, from their support network. So the person gets trapped in the cult. The book that the film is based on has a different message to it as the events are different. The overall story follows a similar path though, a group of friends hiking through the woods in Sweden come upon a monster worshiped by a Norse pagan cult.

I feel like they get away with this horror Superman movie by the fact you could argue it’s a horror parody. it’s not a great argument, but you could conceivably say “well this is what would happen if Superman actually existed”. I would disagree with that statement the whole point of Superman’s origin is that he was raised on good morals and bodies them, but it is definitely an argument that could be made
