How does a modern day mechanic repair this technology?? It would appear that you need significant training to do so or it just becomes scrap when it fails.

😁Good day from Goonellabah, NSW, Australia. I was interested in Lucid's headlight. I am embarking on a significant six-month journey. I'll be circumnavigating Australia in two CYBERTRUCKs and a Tesla Semi, covering a substantial 22,000 kilometres. This journey is set to commence at the beginning of February 2025. Elon shall help me. I will have a new video and website at the end of November. I applied to NASA in 1974 to be an astronaut in the Apollo Space Program. I became an engineer. - Cheers, Ian Cleland

Everything is a tradeoff, a minor collision can total a Tesla vehicle under the right conditions. Watch some videos by Vehcor, see what he repairs, and repairs by the book, by what vehicle makers specify. A Tesla could NEVER be repaired with the damage he has fixed, and fixes structurally RIGHT/SOUND, not just cosmetically.

Those that are looking buying this car will not be very interested in this review. Totally irrelevant to the concept of the car. Perhaps one for Munro to remove from the playlist. If there is a comparison to be made between the trim levels of the 2024 and 2025 Ioniq5's then do it with the standard version. the price difference between the 5 and the 5N is not due to having black door handles instead of silver. 👎👎

@stargazer38282 күн бұрын
Carl the increase in price is because of the increase in horsepower, performance brakes and driving dynamics you get with this over the standard Ionic 5! The target customer that buys this probably doesn't care about the interior changes unless it applies to racing and performance metrics!
@fluffysharkdatazz94602 күн бұрын
I’m an interior first kinda person, so if it doesn’t match the price range I hate it. But I love hatches. So while $65k for this is well above what I’d buy it for, I’d consider it at $45k. But if it was just a sedan I wouldn’t have it past $30k
@JohnLee-db9zt2 күн бұрын

IONIQ 5N cannot be called a 'refresh'. ;-) It's a performance version.
@rolandjarrett6112 күн бұрын
This is a crap review. He does not have a clue about the vehicle. This is not an upgrade to the IONIQ 5, this is a completely different beast and if you drive it to its design capabilities you are not going to be worried about a couple of cup holders. What Hyundai has done here for the price is nothing short of remarkable.

Hey, thanks for watching!
@rolandjarrett6112 күн бұрын
@@MunroLive A better research package is needed for your presenters. Many folks who watch this are going to be left with the impression that this car is an Ioniq 5 upgrade which it is not, the N badge means somthing. The Ioniq 5 has been tweaked and perhaps that is what you should be reviewing here. This is a piece of very poor journalism and we do not need more of that which is particularly evident on closing remarks about the price point. By the way I found the review of the Ioniq 5 N from below to be very well done and informative.

This guy might be an interior trim specialist, but he's clearly not got a clue as to why a road ready race car is 65k. This is an Ioniq 5 N, not a standard Ioniq 5, so it's going to cost more, as the whole machine has been built as a track ready vehicle.
@HourRomanticist2 күн бұрын
I think he has a point though, it really should not be 65k. It isn't a BMW, and it's not even a Tesla but costs twice as much. Even the Hyundai Elantra N costs only 35k and I guarantee puts out faster laps than this car (but I could be wrong, my guarantee isn't worth much lol)
@patreekotime45782 күн бұрын
@@HourRomanticist Commodities are worth whatever someone is willing to pay for them. But I don't even know how you can even remotely compare this to a base model Tesla. Hyundai isn't Tesla... no you are right.... they aren't, but they ARE one of the only companies seriously going after Tesla and are building actual production cars with better efficiency than Teslas.
@madsdgdhg2 күн бұрын
@@HourRomanticistno other electric car, except maybe the Porsche Taycan, can lap the Nurburgring at max attack for multiple laps without overheating the battery, motors or brakes. And developing and built all that has a cost. All the sport trim details are just nice and do not add much to the final price. Also, he's comparing the new Ioniq5 interior with the old one. The base model restyling only now is reaching dealers in Europe.
