Lillie, for your love of bacon, try and find a farmer like me. I have grass eating pigs, Mangalitsas (there are many types). I also feed them organic and corn and soy free feed. They get organic scraps and I’m starting to plant special forages for them. Research has been done on thes pigs and they are high in Omega 3s. There are people who have these grass eating pigs and they still feed them a poor diet. You have to ask.

I had a tumor removed off my foot in feb, and after words I started my "carnivore diet" for all of March. I lost almost 10lb that month, and I felt like a new man. I have since maintained a high meat, low processed food diet and will sometimes cheat. I just met my goal this past week. I set out this year to lose 20lb. It's awesome. I feel better, more energy, and I eat food I enjoy and just avoid the candy and sugars. My diet is big on meat, and I take a liver pill everyday and electrolytes with my water. I am not on pure carnivore anymore, but i feel so much better since I made this journey. Your channel has help keep me motivated and even gave me ideas of things to try and pit falls to look out for. Keep up the great work.

Watching this video in between my cheeseburger patty and my chuck steak lol. Yes it’s hard, I don’t do it all that well as I work out of a vehicle every day and bringing nothing but meat with you isn’t really an option but I’m mostly eating a lot better and it’s worth it! Thanks for the encouragement!

No processed food for the last year. I have been a "hyper Carnivore" for about 9 months. I don't go by the "rules." I eat about an 85%+ meat diet. I eat some raw sugar and honey. Not much. I do eat a lot of dairy. Cheese, yogurt, heavy cream and I drink coffee. Just so many health improvements from getting seed oil and plants out of my diet.

If you like crispy bacon..take a plate, put some paper towels down, add a few strips usually 4-6 side by side, put a couple paper towels over those and pop in the microwave for 4min 10 sec. Comes out perfect and no mess at all. Great for when you’re in a hurry or just want quick bacon to add to a meal or snack
@KevinAmatt
@KevinAmatt 10 ай бұрын
Problem with bacon is the majority of farmers feed their pigs with seed oils to fatten them up. The oils are stored in their fat cells. So it’s in bacon and sausages. Unless you know the farmer.
@itzakpoelzig330
@itzakpoelzig330 10 ай бұрын
I think that would be natural for pigs anyway, to a degree. Pigs in nature eat loads of fallen acorns, which contain, obviously, acorn oil. Plus tannins and mold and a bunch of lignin and other crap that's not ideal for humans. But the animal turns its own diet (which wouldn't be good for humans) into meat (which is great for humans). I totally get what you're saying, in that industrial, rancid, chemically processed seed oils are disgusting and about as nutritional as saran wrap. But, from another angle, most people just have to eat what they can get, and even Walmart bacon is miles better for you than ramen and peanut butter and pancakes.

Hi Lillie. Always glad to see one of your vids. You radiate optimism and cheerfulness❤. And since this moment you even support my WOE😂. In fact I can eat everything like I did before on lowcarb. Real food. Just I gave annimal products the highest priority. The poison really seems to be in the dose. So I do sometimes a day of fasting. One meal or two meals. Or a day of grazing carbs. 🎉🎉but I always return. I have some health issues. And am slightly overweight. The WOE helps on both.

Keto changed my life, last year I lost 130 pounds from keto alone, no exercise! I stay away from "diet food" and processed food and cook more at home. I eat lots of animals protein with every meal, but I still get a good dose of vegetables, nuts, and the occasional berries. Going hypercarnivore feels a little too restrictive for me, it's something I could do in the short term, but probably not long term. Instead, long term, I'm just gonna stick to real foods, fruits, veggies, nuts, lots of meat, dairy, ECT. White bread, sugar, seed oils, and all the processed foods I used to eat, are not, in any way, appealing to me anymore. You guys just have to find what works for you. ❤ and newsflash, counting calories while eating Doritos won't work for you 😂

In fact, I am going on a cruise in a couple days and you better believe I am going to eat everything. Lots of meat, and also lots of desserts :) Why because it's fun and makes me happy. I mean why would I want to be so disciplined 95% of the time to not be able to enjoy yummy foods once in a while:) But everyone needs to do what works for them.

I used to be bloated constantly, after every meal and beyond (very meat heavy diet). A few months ago. I started taking apple cider vinegar in water, with a touch of electrolytes, just before eating and with the meal. At first I didn’t notice any improvements but kept it up because I liked the taste, and wanted a replacement for diet soda.. Just this week it occurred to me, that I have not been bloated at all for a long time… I also have added magnesium supplements so not sure if that also impacted, but it works, so will continue with it….

Used to trick myself thinking that because a snack had dark chocolate in it then it was kinda healthy. Now even small bites of bread or sugary thing trigger a response in my mouth and throat that says this is creating acid that my stomach is gonna hate me for. I think it’s the amalase enzyme that starts this reaction.

Some addition to bacon topic: Noone is going to feed cows corns or soy because they can digest greens without a problem. The reason people feeding chicken and pigs with these things is that they are not ruminant animals and you cannot feed them grass.
