Ok... Day 1.... I weigh 2..... Much.... 234.... Never said that out loud. I walk a mile everyday for 6+ months.... Well at least I am not gaining. I saw this man on youtube who lost almost 200 pounds in a year. Mere keeps coming on and talking to my soul. I am in that bunch of tried this that and the other. Even the prescription stopped working. I am tired of giving up. I watched a few of her videos last night. It really seems like she actually cares... So walked a mile with my fur babies and did this particular excersise for the first time. Cross your fingers.

I found you on an advert and am checking out your videos on KZbin. Thank you for putting these up for free. I have never really done these things before, always just swim and walk but, in the past few years, things have gone to sh&% and have put on 40 kilos and feel very tired. Am 57 and so hormones are playing a big part. I have mental health stuff going on and I feel like doing these beginner workouts will put me on track to improvement in both areas. Hi there! I recommend doing this 3-4 times a week! If you can do the workout one time through, try increasing to 2-3 rounds! You can also do other workouts in conjunction with this one!

I feel that, for the last year, my metabolism has been totally out of sinc. Hello Mere, I love doing your routines, but I fell from the roof a few years ago and landed sitting, had a line fracture in the Sacral 4 & 5 after that doing squats is painful after a few days. Is there any other exercise could do that is equivalent to squats?

Thanks for loving our routines! For your situation, I'd recommend trying lunges or leg presses as alternatives to squats. They're effective and less stressful on the lower back. 🏋️♀️

I am 72 years young and love your exercises. When I am coming up from a squat my knees sound like Rice Krispy cereal. Snap, crackle and pop. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.

I would make sure you are stretching prior to the workout and find a range of motion that isn't putting too much stress on your knees. When you're in a squat, make sure your toe points at the same angle your knees do when dropping down into form. Your knees naturally bow out a little, so if your toes are too straight it put's a lot of stress on your knees which could be causing the crackling and discomfort. Let me know if that helps!

you should do it as many times a week as you can allowing for rest days.I advise beginners to workout 3-4 times a day, those who are more Intermediate 4-6

As long as you feel comfortable and able, yes! Any kind of activity is good for you and especially when it comes to working on every part of your body. I do suggest you take at least 1-2 rest days per week for your body to recover .

I have been in the fitness industry since the mid 80's- I have worked with all segments of the population- ages & stages. I stick by what I said. Plus there is no room in these workouts for inspirational creativity. Everything is cut & dry. I share your workouts because they are solid- ty
