Nadi shuddhi Pranayama-
cleansing of the subtle channels through which life-force energy (prana) travels in the body.
The term comes from the Sanskrit nadi, which roughly translates as “nerves,” “channels” or “flow,” and shuddhi, which means “cleansing” or “purifying.”
.
The cleansing is performed via a pranayama or yogic breathing exercise that is known in English as alternate nostril breathing or Anulom Vilom Pranayama

Mam, while doing pranayam with Right and Left nostril the exhalation is seen from nose but as shown in the figure I could notice exhalation is done with mouth pl explain it correctly

what is the ideal pattern of inhale-hold-exhale-hold? I am following : 5 seconds inhale- 5 seconds hold- 10 seconds exhale-5 seconds hold. Is this correct?

How do you differentiate between nadi shudhhi and Arnom vilom pranayam? Because both are inhaling from left and exhaling from right nosetril.
