Nsima, idk if you’ll see this but regarding the l-carnitine, it has to be “loaded” similar to creatine. You don’t have to do any special dosage but you won’t notice any benefit to it unless you’ve been taking at least 500mg daily with carbs for at least 2-4 weeks. I didn’t really notice any benefits until about 3 weeks in, but it’s definitely made a slight difference. My meathead explanation is that it doesn’t work acutely, you need an insulin spike to shuttle it from your bloodstream into your muscles and it will take a few weeks to fully saturate them with the additional carnitine.

Great topic. I think the supplement industry is like a lot of other ones. Certain brands sell their products for higher prices because of an image they’re try to portray, and most people don’t really know much about this industry and just go with what ever Men’s Health tells and sells them no matter how overpriced and/or ineffective.

It's totally fine to partner with other companies, sell product, and profit on all kinds of stuff, but it's weird to have to tell an audience why it's okay for you to profit on what you believe is reasonable and legitimate and what you profit from especially when the benefits are largely subjective and could be influenced by placebo. This video turned weird because I heard a lot of comparing of yourselves to others doing perhaps the same thing. All these videos are weird when someone sells or profits from something and tells an audience that others doing it could be lying and are untrustworthy.

The reason why people wouldn’t want whey from China is because they produce low quality trash. They have a much higher tendency to have high amounts of heavy metals in their supplement supplies. Clean label project did an analysis a couple years ago with proteins. So many have very high amounts of heavy metals.

New Chapter Men's Multivitamin is a legitimate multi. All food based, organic/Non-GMO. I take other supplements also, but I only continue those that make a noticeable difference. Onnit Alpha Brain was noticeable, but stupid pricey. Not worth that, IMO. The best supplement I ever took, that did the most; D³/K² combo in high dose (10,000+iu daily). Cured my anxiety and depression. Basically changed my life. The trick is knowing when to take each supplement and with what (food, water, fats, etc)

I put beta alanine directly into stoopy-dumbdumb strong coffee and straight drink them shits. If I’m feeling particularly special I’ll squirt one to two tablespoons of raw honey into the witches brew to either spike my insulin or just feel extra queeny. Either way I’m set for success. Don’t get me started on my home made electrolyte concoctions…😈🙏

Years ago they marketed "fat burners" that were based on thermogenesis.... seems like they worked but they were based on caffeine, ephedrine and aspirin. People overdosed on this stuff.. died.. and they pretty much got pulled from the market. (first they tried to move to "natural versions" of the same substance but that got nixed too)

It was the dmaa in the fatburners i tried it and i got very weird heartbeats very scary i take it 2 days but it feeled not god so i throw it away, this was when its still was legal, and then after some time they make it iligal. So what i wanna try to say is. Listen good to your body, not everything what is legal is good for u.
