Your vids have re-ignited my interest in D2. Not to mention all the other arpgs I've tried thanks to you (like Chronicon). Not to mention your humor is right up my alley, overall it's just great listening to you. Also your outro slaps, one of the only ones I've been really enjoying and not skipping to go for the next video.

my vote would be some kind of Modern Supernatural thing. Playing as monster hunters / mages / reformed monsters that go around hunting vampires and zombies and shit. Would fit the aesthetic of melee and ranged being equally common, whether you're some katana-swinging Wesley Snipes in a trenchcoat or dual-pistols Kate Beckinsale. Plus plenty of monstrous or magical abilities for people to learn. Fight necromancy with necromancy, use silver bullets and holy water or werewolf out yourself and make your friends paranoid that you're going to lose your shit one day and eat some school children

I loved this game as a kid an I still love it now. Idk about the Vampiress meta I’ve always hated that character. IMHO you picked the worst possible option in terms of fun. For me, the dwarf always was where it’s at. With the flamethrower killing mobs in hordes with one cast and the mortar being able to strike bosses from behind terrain cover, the best thing about the dwarf is that he has a special smithing skill that allows you to smith +x% rare item drop chance into EVERY slot making him the go-to class for farming them legendaries and set items. Also, you’ve noted 2 things already: quest reward are random and you can save and reload. Put those two together and with a bit of patience you can reset for any set item you want as early as the first town
