Cette vidéo traite des stratégies alimentaires et sportives visant à l'hypertrophie, et donc à la prise de masse musculaire. Le développement du volume musculaire est rigoureux, et demande une attention particulière du côté de l'entraînement et de l'alimentation. On orientera l'entraînement vers une logique de résistance musculaire, sans effet de charge ou de régime de contraction. Du côté de l'alimentation, on veillera à maintenir un apport de protéines compris entre 1,8 et 2,2 grammes par kilos de poids de corps, par jour. Egalement, le plateau de resynthèse musculaire fixé entre 20 et 25 grammes ne justifie pas une prise de de protides supérieure par collation ou repas. Il sera plus intéressant de multiplier les repas, à raison de 4 par jour, pour des résultats optimaux. Enfin, les glucides vont jouer un rôle primordial également, durant la séance, pour ne pas laisser les stocks de glycogène se vider, et en récupération durant la fenêtre métabolique.
