This was a nice surprise! For whatever reason, switching from dumbbells to resistance bands made the exercises feel fresh and even a little different. I came across your channel as kind off a last effort of relief, I have had issues with my adductors, with such pain in walking. I joined a gym , but really only could ride an exercise bike. then i went to PT, i did get some relief. I had researched this issue, and only came up with menopause, many hip and leg issues happen, I was seriously scared of moving , I still go out shopping and such , but sometimes praying to God, to just help me get back to my car. I still try to walk fast, like i always have, but in pain. Since i found you i have been doing the chair exercises, and some of the low impact cardio, and i am so encouraged and please, I am feeling better mentally about my condition, and physically, as i am moving my legs in different positions and finding out , i can do things again. I am grateful to God for you, God bless you, as you continue on in helping others, Thank you so much for your gift, God bless you so much

I injured my thigh muscle about a month ago (not from exercising) and I have been very skittish to return to exercising. Then yesterday what pops up on your channel? - resistance bands!! Fortunately, my husband had some and this has been a great way to ease back into exercising. Thank you!

I'm sorry to read about the injury, but I'm glad that you're feeling ready to start back slowly and to do what you can. If you're concerned about re-injuring it, I have plenty of 'gentle' level workouts that might be most suitable to start out with. This way you can judge how you feel after those, and then go from there.

Good Morning Jules!!! This is a great workout. I love the resistance bands. No squats for me due to extreme pain when doing squats (Arthritis) so I will do four sets of deadlifts which feel so much better. So glad you left the shoulders for last. No shoulder work for me. I will just do more Biceps/Triceps. Can you please do more resistance band workouts please!❤❤❤❤

I loved this workout yesterday. I do need a new medium strength and lightweight band. My medium one broke but thankfully there was enough to do all but the full biceps. My lighter weight one keeps sticking together but I managed. 😊 I love Resistance Band workouts. It’s such a great alternative to weights.

That was really good. I am currently on a VLCD health programme so I need to do resistance training to keep my muscle mass. This was really good and as I am traveling next week the bands are way better than dumbbells to move around. Need to get better bands though as I find mine don't have enough stretch. It could also be that I am not that strong!! Thanks Jules.

Wow! I worked up a real sweat. I used a theraband I got from my physio as I was curious to try. It was very good, seemed long compared to other workouts, but it’s not the time but it’s hard work 😂. Thank you for the links in the resistance bands

First I had to find the bands - stored in a box high in the cabinet. Dusted them off and got them ready to work. I didn't like bands before this video which is why they were in a box on the high shelf. I still don't like bands, but at least I learned a few new ways to use them. I'm afraid they're going back in the box! I can see using them for travel, but I'll stick with my weights. The bands hurt my hands. But thanks for this interesting workout. I'll eagerly await a new video next Monday and go back to old faithfuls for this week.

Lol, well I am glad the bands came out and got dusted off and used:) I prefer weights as well, but I do add in band exercises to finish off some exercises at home which allows me to do more.

Using dumbbells or weights both have their advantages. If you enjoy one more than the other, you can stick with what you like (since that means you'll do it more often). I usually use weights, but sometimes add on resistance band exercises on after to work the muscle to failure. You can mix in this type of workout if you like variety, or if you prefer the feeling of using bands.
