i got lucky with my pmr 30, from day 1 its worked perfectly, all they had at the ammo shop was cci TNT 30 grain with a 2200 vel. but it works great, not even 1 misfire , feed failure no problems at all. but i am worried about using any other ammo now lol.

LMFAO when someone has no clue what they have and think they can shoot a 12g shell out of it.

Hi mate I noticed your sling was holding the drum mag in when it was running smoothly have you tried taking the sling off and if so did it still work?

The only negative is that it’s plastic, ugly and not an heirloom piece. But That’s just an excuse to also get a Smith revolver or a nice 1911.

If it is kept clean and well lubed it will run fine. Just break it in with a few 100 rounds and see what it is capable of. Great video.

I see that this video is 4 years old, I hope you will see this comment. I am 76 year old male with arthritis in thumbs and wrist, so recoil is a real problem. Love this gun and feel it is a viable CCW. I put a TR30 for a PMR30 Laser on my gun. Would like to know if there is a IWB holster that will work with this laser?

Unfortunately I haven’t seen any off the shelf holsters with those mods but a custom holster from a local maker may not be that hard to get. May cost a little more but will be worth it. 😉

Hey Max, .Just wanted to tell you that this video is absolutely perfect. I'm 65 years of age and have been carrying both open and concealed starting while I was in the military and overseas for 3 years in the 1970s. Upon ETS'ing from the military, I then carried both openly and concealed. I was very proficient with the M - 16, Remington 870 12 gauge shotgun, which I equate to the Glock. It's also so very smooth, easy to clean, and in my humble opinion, it's the absolute best 12 gauge shotgun. Also utilized the Ruger Mini - 14, which again is perfect. Our department switched from S & W .357 magnum, and switched to the Glock 17. I always carry my Glock 17 Gen. 4, wherever I go. Usually, I carry it just as it is, no holster, in the front of my blue jeans or other pants. You're correct about always having a round chambered and ready to go. In so many quick, unexpected chaos scenarios, in the time it takes to rack a round into the chamber, those precious seconds make the difference between ending up in the hospital or giving funeral directors more business. Wish you all the best, brother. 👍👍

Been looking at the CT 45 and the CW 45 and 40, but I have enough extra magazines, have 2/ 1911a1 45 acp and several 40 s&w pistols, like the kahr 40 and 45 pistols , but if will be the 45 acp first, have the magazines and don't have to get any more 7/8/and 10 shot, but like the cw pistol more

I also bought he Ruger 10/22 with 110 rd GSG drum mag and the BMF Activator before I got this as I wanted a big mag yes I know its a pain to load but wow with the rotary crank cool beans too bad not one for the Calico one
@stardudezАй бұрын
I got a used one in excellent condition with 2 mags it works more importantly I ordered a buffer part from Calico and got it less than 2 weeks as I was told they are not reliable. Which is important if you want to keep shooting . I only bid 555 for it as I was leary of ordering one 675 from Calico as read issues about buying them > A used excellent one goes for @1400 now!
@stardudezАй бұрын
Yes I got a used one in excellent condition with 2 mags , bipod , and 2 mag caring case for $555 on gun buyers ! Have fired a few time at only 10 rds per mag using CCI minimags round nosed HV as I wad concerned about getting repair parts so I ordered the buffer piece and it came in 2 weeks so yes Calico is ok as I read that they had issues . So now I am good to go

I know this is from 6yrs ago, but im grateful to find it here. I got a CD pak9 i need to make modifications to, including the safety; i also want to install a folding stock, which Ive been looking into, for parts.. i appreciate this very useful information. I know which Krebs safety I'll need, from having read the comments, Thank You ! Also going to look into your "pistol arm brace" video that's also popping up in the comments. Thank you for your work, I have subscribed !

My PMR30 was a Tac Driver from the beginning and I had no problems at all until I shot over 300 rounds. I then started to experience a few FTF's but not that bad and I tried every KZbin Fix, including the Glue on Mag Fix but still had some FTF issues. Then my Firing Pin Broke and Kel-Tec sent me a new one which I replaced myself. For Me it was very hard but I did it and it worked, in spite of my frustration. My gun is a 2nd Gen, with all original parts and I now have over 1000 rounds through it with only a few FTF rounds out of 4 magazines! I love this gun in spite of my past problems. NOTE: I also have TWO P17's which have over 1000 rounds in each and I have had No Problems at all with them, I also have a CP33 with almost 1000 rounds with No Failures at all! I'm 80 years old and I have nerve damage in my hands, so I only shoot 22LR/22 Mag guns and I do Carry my P17's as my EDC and I love to shoot every week at my LGR here in Sunny Florida, The Gun Friendly State! Good Luck to All!
