The Bible is NOT the inerrant word of God. Jesus said so. Second, I explain that if you aren't a follower of Jesus, you aren't a Christian. Then, you got the teachings of Jesus right. Jesus was a yanuka then a learned rabbi even if you don't want to consider Him the Messiah or Christ. He knew God. Josephus wasn't the only person who wrote about Jesus. He did exist. Jesus did correctly teach. I believe in His words and in Native American spirituality. They both teach the same things--love and help your fellow man, don't be greedy and selfish. Then, all that Jesus taught agrees with psychology and was good for all of mankind. He got things right. In fact, if everyone had followed His teachings, we would be living in Utopia instead of being on the verge of extinction. Psychopaths took over much of Christianity in the United States. Of course, they also took over politics and economics here. Humans are the evil that Jesus spoke against. All churches did terrible things.This is because men lead churches and psychopaths choose leadership positions so that they can use and abuse other people. They didn't follow what Jesus taught. As a kid who was an avid SF/Fantasy and YA fiction reader, I think it got big because it got big. I enjoyed reading the early books okay, but it was really exciting when they became popular and suddenly there was a community to be a part of. Before HP got big, I was alone or with one or two friends in most of the fantasy worlds I played and daydreamed in. It didn't snowball because it was the cream if the crop. I'm sure there were some specific conditions at the time that helped it pop off, but once it popped off it snowballed because people like being involved in a larger culture/community.

My early marriage was a lot like this. I did decide to stay home to raise the kids and I really loved doing it. My husband was never home and got to do what ever he wanted and would be angry about watching the kids so I could go to the grocery store. They were so little butt Mobil enough to run in different directions. He would criticize me constantly and never seem to want anything to do with me. I finally had enough and told him I was done. He blamed for everything. I didn't care I had enough. He came back to after a week of me sleeping in another room and apologized . He wanted to know what I wanted and he began helping around the house supporting me emotionally. We are a team today but here is the kicker. He said he has never been happier and that he loves me more than ever. Bad behavior dies not make men happy. That is the crazy thing. Men think it will make them happy to have power and control but they always need more and more and never satisfied. So unhealthy for everyone.
