on 1:21:50 when i respawn everything goes black and when i stop the gameplay im under the map how do i fix this

i know threat interactive can be obnoxious and idealistic, but considering how narrowminded some devs can be and how his facts often get swept under the rug or his views silenced on reddit, it doesnt surprise me anymore, most unreal games s*ck, even if the engine is not at fault. its always the humans. any developer, using nanite prior to 5.4 should not make major decisions regarding graphics features. only fools would use lumen for an open world game or an immersive game (while rtgi is immersive alright, rt noise of software RT KILLS immersion) and the lack of hardware lumen in many games so far, just makes me sad. may unreal engine one day be used properly by devs who actually have talent in graphics programming. megalights looks megacool, but also megaexpensive as lumen and nanite, so it is probably without heavy optimization work, again, for 30fps targets on consoles or smaller games, double A, or CGI for video and movie production. forget this being useful for open worlds. you add megalights on top of the nanite / LOD fiasco discussion and goodbye framerate, and hello stutter!i just hope devs keep the scope of their projects small. if i see one more game with traversal stutter i will put this engine on my banlist.

thank god, when talking about gaming, more and more people are getting tired of UE5, since the incredible improvements in graphics are pretty much always destroyed by DLSS, TAA, FSR and all that crap that was supposed to give longevity to old hardware instead of promoting the developement of unoptimized garbage.

do we loss all the parameters (textures and so on) on the material when we migrate the material?do I have to load all manually or there supposed to self load? same for the landscape layers?

it seems to get the material to work as on the video I needed to migrate the example folder (which has the material instance created) and use this instance, this way it loads all the textures and the layers properly. it didn't work to me by juts migrating the landscape folder.

So what you’re saying is there should be no excuse for Bethesda to keep making shit games in their Creation Engine… God imagine what it would be like for someone to make a modern next gen Bethesda RPG… We all know Bethesda isn’t making Bethesda RPGs anymore, we needs some actual inspired devs to make a new “Bethesda” RPG studio. There is a giant void in the market waiting to be filled, you could print money with a decent game! And honestly you could just make one Good Game and continue to release large “expansion pack” DLC every year. Bethesda could Still be making expansions for Skyrim and be raking in money every year…

This is great and all but yall wonder why gta 6 has taken over a decade. Look at how much work and effort has to go into games now ALONG with good gameplay. It used to be gameplay first, graphics were second. Which is why we got such amazing games so quick. These graphics having to be everything is ruining what gaming is. These shouldn't look like you're playing a movie... its a game.
