Hello Sharon, Thank you for your question and interest. We work with people with osteoarthritis and joint issues regularly who have had great success reducing pain and improving their range of movements. That being said, when it comes to pain and injuries it's always prudent to check with your doctor first and make sure this type of exercise is safe for you. Everyone is unique and some injuries or conditions may not be conducive to an online program. Any other questions please let me know. I'm happy to help.

I started following your stretches/ yoga just a few days ago and already feel better. Still a long way to go. Question: do you have recommendations for Quad stretches that don't bend the knees like crazy or require that you grab your ankle to pull? That's not happening anytime soon. I find some of the stretches for my hips ate limited due to super tight quads. Thanks!

You could try a low lunge with the back knee on the floor. That will stretch the upper part of the quad and your hip flexor. Or try going from table top (all fours) then lean your rear back towards your heels and only go as far as your body will allow. Breathe and maintain up to 30 seconds. Take a break and repeat. I've been seeing your FB ads for a while, and I was intrigued. However, there weren't (at the time) many comments to give me a feel for how legit the program was, and I didn't see a link to the KZbin channel. I saw an ad today that included the KZbin channel link in the comments, and came here to try this particular flow out. Loved it! I'm someone who has never been flexible (at all!), and even most beginner yoga is just too hard/unpleasant for me. This one was fabulous! I already have the strength component, but I've been missing the flexibility part, despite trying various different programs that promise to help. I've signed up for the free 5-days, but if they turn out to be anything like this one, I'm definitely buying the 30-day version. Thanks for this!

I have bad knees. Even kneeling down is painful. How useful is this now. Should i wait until after i have them replaced?

We work with people with knee pain, had knee their knees replaced and joint issues regularly who have had great success reducing pain and improving their range of movements. It may be that with some modifications you'll find success. And fortunately, there are many ways to modify positions so I've listed some resources to help you do that. For adaptations for your knees, take a look at this video where I go over ways to protect your knees during practice. Have you tried adding extra padding? Thank you so much! I'm 38 and trying to get stronger and more flexible. I used to be one of those 20 somethings taking the 90 minute hot yoga classes but years at a desk job and remote work has taken its toll. I really appreciate the mindfulness to modifications and injuries.

I understand having trouble believing just 10-minutes can help. But when it comes to working out and becoming fit, a consistent routine of 10 minutes a day will work wonders than nothing. We are all busy with life and so 10 minutes are very doable.

I don’t know if this’ll help at all, but, in my experience, short bursts of exercise/activity is actually very effective. I lost 18 pounds over a period of three months by cutting sugar and empty calories, keeping dairy in pretty strict moderation (I LIVE for cheese) and doing 7-10 minute workouts no less than five days per week. Google: ‘Short bursts exercise’ and you’ll get a sense of what I mean. As long as you get that heart rate up, you’re making a difference. Edit: P.S. My comment is meant in a ‘generally speaking’ context. I’m not affiliated with this channel or the program it’s advertising.

Hello, Janine. My sincere apologies for not responding to your video sooner. I'm going through a rough time, as my mother died recently, and haven't been able to function normally and lack motivation to get moving. I have been doing these and the Win With Yoga exercises sporadically, and they are excellent for someone like myself who used to be active years ago and is eager to become flexible again to avoid injury. It is so crucial for women our age and older to stay flexible, as inflexibility can cause injuries due to tightening of the muscles and ligaments, hence being more prone or susceptible. Again, thank you for designing workouts that create flexibility without overexerting oneself. I'm a 64-year-old grandmother of a 1 and 1/2-year-old grandson and am determined to stay active and keep up with him as long as I can! Love your program! 😊

I'm doing this today!!! The Fit with Yoga program worked perfectly for me, a 58yo yoga beginner with multiple spine & back issues. I was looking for something to help my hips and lower back and am grateful to have found the 5 day tryout program. It helped me see this is something I can do, and only 10 minutes a day! I was skeptical that so little time would make a difference, but it has. I got the 30 Day Fit & Flexible and love it. Thank you for the short video. I have seen several tutorials that show the various leg positions in Tree Pose. What seems missing to me is how to move from kickstand to placing the foot on the opposite calf and then higher on the thigh. Could there not be more to progressing in this pose than standing by the wall and practicing? I suspect that some attention to external hip rotation would be of value and perhaps some other preparatory balance poses would be helpful here too. Please share not just where to start, but how to progress to the next step.
