Towards the end of the video You talked about obese Persons being able to fast for a long time without losing muscle Because they are now utilizing ketones , which protect the muscle, but where are your daily amino acids coming from ?Does fat have an Amino acid source, or is the liver converting fat to amino acids?

I’m a bit late to the table but I’ve just purchased Ben’s book as I want my husband to read it. I’ve been following Ben for a long time and being a type 2 diabetic in remission for 2 years is all down to his and others research. Too many health benefits to mention but one main issue was debilitating reflux and foot pain- all now gone thanks to low carb eating with very little fructose and zero seed oils

So if fructose/fruit isn’t used as glucose “much” then why would Paul eat only fruits Apparently he’s using that as energy vs starch foods

Always check for insulin resistance c peptide test. Or homa hr test.most are resistant but dr's never check it. You cant go by glucose. An a1c just tells you how much damage in last 3 months

Glad he mentioned to be careful with animal protein if your glucose is high (insulin resistant) you can get protein from plants too. Have to avoid oil too.

‘Insulin suppresses the metabolic rate of white fat’. Never heard that before. Could that be an evolutionary response to starvation? In that, absemt any meat source, early himans tirned to foraging and the body responded to that danger signal by conserving the burning of fat?

Great easy to understand complex materials. As former Gut MD who during worst time, the 3rd year med school took apple cider vinegar and honey as breakfast and it was my only meal until supper. My wife name it GULP BREAKFAST as i was always running late. Happy to learn it lowers glucose. Have moved A1C from 6.1 to 4.9 on eating within 12 hrs or less window. Thanks 4 making this easier to understand.

Would be nice for some actual scientists or doctors to step in. Cos what he says makes no sense to me. Is there any actual research to back up his words?

These healing methods are thousand years old, your scientists and your doctors know nothing of breathing or healing, they are experts on prescribing meds. Perhaps a Yoga class could help you understand some of what Niraj Naik is saying.

I like the MAF concept but his nutritional information is pretty bad . You can see man study's on preworkout carbohydrates and direct measures on trial performance. This example goes directly against the ideal not having some carbs preworkout. Also "sugar" is still the same sugar in fruit and has a constant history of health benefits .

1:07:14 -- I drink coconut oil mixed with water each day on my ~7 hr dirt bike rides in the mountains with issue ...Other than take some CR tissue with you.. No hunger and energy levels stay AOK. I get most of my coconut oil from local farmers AND not the stored purchased clear stuff. MCT oils are gonna be *processed* to some degree. Buying ketones are also processed. F these shortcuts until they are proven 100% as good and safe OR you are going down the same road we all have been on for the last 50+ yrs looking for drugs and shortcuts to be healthy.. lol

It depends on how much other things your eating. It my understanding one should eat meat in the amount of the size of the palm of your hand. If your doing a keto or carnivore I'd double that.

Brown is good, white is good in the sense it can prevent diabetes and hyperglycemia by growing....

Brown is good because it waste energy by turning it into heat, witch since we ussally have to much energy we regard this as good

@@pattihy location and quantity, if your 600lbs that's way to much white fat no matter what.... he does mention that how your white fat is growing will make a difference in how quickly it becomes a bad thing... whether your fat is growing by making new fat cells vs growing by overstuffing your existing cells.... thou neither way of growing is strictly good, but new cells are definitely better then overstuffed cells
@jackdelane
@jackdelane Жыл бұрын
@@pattihy too little fat is a problem too, like he mentions reproductive function can hault in women if they loose to much weight, like those who are anorexic.... you definitely want some white fat, just not alot.... and location matters like you said.... in and around organs is much worse than on your thighs

Boy, the information comes very fast. It might just be me but I find myself thinking and cataloging what was said and fear that I may miss some. I would really like to share the discussion with my grandkids but part of what was being said, the terminology may be a little bit beyond their understanding. I can explain it to them but many listeners may not get a complete benefit from what was being said because they lack the background necessary to understand. I would love a simpler explanation of this content with more of the terms broken down...

Don't just promote apple cider vinegar (ACV). The active ingredient in ACV is acetic acid, so any vinegar will have the same benefit, even white vinegar. Should mention about essential fatty acids from algae and fatty fish.
